The Procera Method in Brief

Procera® technology makes a controlled fit possible.

Here is a brief summary of the process that is used to make Procera
AllCeram for densely aluminum oxide crowns.
The Preparation model (die) is scanned in the Procera scanner,

which transfers the information to the PC data file.
The finished data from
the dental technician controls the computerized production of
Procera crowns and bridges.

Production of the ceramic
coping is automatically
controlled by a PC data file.
The die is shaped in a
computer-controlled mill.

Aluminum oxide powder
compacted onto the cast
forms the copings inside surface. The outer contour

is milled before sintering.

During sintering to full density,
the coping shrinks to fit into the preparation cast.

the Simi translucent
coping, a special porcelain

has been developed which
enables the crown to blend with the surrounding natural teeth.
